Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi VA School is proud to be supporting the Welsh Government’s initiative Cymraeg 2050, which aims to have one million Welsh speakers by 2050. We are committed to providing learners with a curriculum that encourages the development of Welsh language skills that will be useful to them in the future both socially and at work. In order to achieve the goal of the Siarter Iaith, we are embedding positive language use practices and formal and informal opportunities for social use of Welsh. We want to ensure that, after leaving school, all our students can use the Welsh language.

Aidan & Non Campuses are currently aiming to achieve the Gold Award and Dewi Campus are working towards the Bronze Award.
